Need help with solving "EX:adres@domain.com" issue

Hi all,

Could anyone help me with the following issue;

I've got my customers complaining they are getting the following adreses: "EX:adres@domain.com"
Can anyone please help me out with this issue? How can it be resolved on Exchange Server?

We need more clarity and explanation on your issue.

Q1: Please tell us When and where the mentioned email address is appearing for the users ?

Q2: Just tell me is that issue is affecting all the users ?

But however i would suggest you to check the email address policies in your exchange server .

Well the issue is appearing when they try to typ an email to existing mailadres in the adresbook.

It autoshows the following thing below the adres: "EX:adres@domain.com"

But it also shows the regular adres of the same person they trying to send to....

Hi ,

Could you please share us the snap so that i would help me to give you the exact suggestions.

Same time if possible please share me the output for the below mentioned command.You need to run the command against the recipient mailbox on where you are getting the additional address.

get-mailbox -identity "name of the recipient mailbox" | fl 

Have you cleared that particular email address from outlook auto complete cache from the sender's outlook?

See picture above...below the name of Frank Lases. Do you see EX:f.Lases@gunco.nl? THat's the issue...

If they are from external domain? Or they are internal messages?

And is there any 3rd part application in your exchange server?

Whats the detailed email address policy applied to these user mailbox?

Hi Kerim,

look to the smtpproxyaddress of a user in AD or ADSIEDIT,

if the EX:adres@domain.com is in the list remove it,
